Cruise Control Module

Disconnect cruise control module connector. Perform all circuit tests at cruise control module wiring harness connector. SeeFig 1 . Ensure ignition switch and cruise control main switch are on. Unless told otherwise, check circuit between specified terminal and ground. See CRUISE CONTROL MODULE table.

8 (Brake Switch) Switch Depressed/Released 0 Volts/12 Volts
9 (Ground) n/a Continuity To Ground
10 (Vacuum Pump) See CRUISE CONTROL ACTUATOR  Test 2 Amps Maximum
11 (Resume Switch) Resume & Main Switch On 12 Volts
12 (Brake Switch) Switch Released/Depressed 0 Volts/12 Volts -
13 (Vehicle Speed Sensor)(2) n/a 13,500 Ohms To Infinite Resistance
