Starter Relay

  1. Using an ohmmeter, ensure continuity exists between relay terminals No. 1 and 2. SeeFig 1 . Ensure no continuity exists between relay terminals No. 3 and 4.
  2. Apply battery voltage between terminals No. 5 and 6. Ensure no continuity exists between relay terminals No. 1 and 2, and continuity exists between relay terminals No. 3 and 4. If continuity is not as specified, replace relay.
