Storing Transmitter Code

  1. Open driver's door. Press and hold driver's door lock switch in UNLOCK position. Quickly insert and remove key from ignition switch 5 times, then insert and leave key in ignition switch. Ensure routine is done within 10 seconds.
  2. All doors will lock and unlock, indicating that control unit is in program mode. Press either button on replacement transmitter. All doors (except driver's door) will lock and unlock, indicating that control unit has accepted the transmitter code into its memory. Press remote transmitter buttons to verify proper system operation.
  3. To program second remote transmitter, press either button on remote transmitter. Doors should lock and unlock. Release driver's door master switch. To exit program mode, close driver's door or remove key from ignition switch.
