Generalized Testing

1. Various methods can be used in order to check for water leaks after the window adhesive has been allowed to dry.
2. Use watertest stands whenever possible in order to perform generalized testing. This method provides a large volume of water to a general area without going over the sealing limitations of the glass. Refer to Waterleak Test Preparation.
3. Once the leak area has been found, locate the exact entry point using the Water Hose Test or Air Hose Test.
