Bleeding Brake System: Notes

CAUTION:
Before bleeding system, remove ABS main fuse (60-amp) located in relay/fuse box. Failure to remove fuse may cause damage to hydraulic unit. Ensure engine is running when bleeding brakes, otherwise damage to vacuum booster may occur.
CAUTION:
Use only brake fluid DOT3 or DOT4. Never mix specified brake fluid with any other brake fluid, as it will significantly decrease braking performance. Brake fluid will damage painted surfaces. If brake fluid is spilled on painted surface, wipe it off immediately and wash with water.
