NOTE:
Some diagnostic procedures may require use of a Tech 2 or other OBD-II compatible scan tool. Limited information is available on scan tool operating procedures. See scan tool manufacturer's instructions.
The ABS is capable of storing DTCs when a system malfunction is detected. During a malfunction, ABS warning light may flash or remain illuminated. DTCs can be retrieved by observing ABS warning light, or by using a scan tool. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES . If a DTC is not present, but a malfunction is evident, diagnosis may be performed by symptom. See SYSTEM TESTS .
