Conditions For Setting DTC
- No active Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT), Intake Air Temperature (IAT), Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) or Throttle Position (TP) sensor DTCs set.
- BARO reading is 85 kPa or more.
- Engine Coolant Temperature is less than 158°F (70°C).
- Start-up intake air temperature (IAT) and start-up engine coolant temperature (ECT) are 39-93°F (4-34°C).
- The difference between start-up ECT and current ECT is less than 13°F (7°C).
- Fuel level is between 15 percent and 85 percent.
- The engine has been running for between 5 seconds and 100 seconds.
- System voltage is normal.
- Intake air temperature is steady, changing below 54°F (12°C).
- Ignition voltage is between 11V and 16V.
- Tank vacuum is less than threshold for 2 seconds.
- The test starts within 5 seconds after engine started.
- The test is complete within 100 seconds after tank vacuum drawn.
