Installation Procedure

Install the module to the liftgate.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the bolts that retain the module to the liftgate.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Connect the electrical connectors (3) as necessary.
Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
Program the liftgate control module. Refer to Control Module References .
