Running Test

  1. To test actuator function, switch tester to the "RUN" position. Start engine, press and hold dump and control buttons of tester. Engine RPM should increase. Release dump and control buttons.
  2. Drive vehicle, the lower indicator light on the run side should flicker indicating impulse signal from transducer unit mounted at propshaft flange.
  3. Drive vehicle to approximately 50 MPH, press "SET" button and release. The middle light "DUMP" should illuminate and top light "CONTROL" should flicker. Depress brake pedal, both lights should go out.
