Flushing

Flushing the system is an essential function which must be carried out if the system has:
- Suffered component or pipe rupture leading to a refrigerant discharge.
- Suffered component failure leading to the possibility of contamination of the system.
- The system has been left in a uncapped condition for longer than eight hours.
- If the system has remained open for more than eight hours, the dryer bottle must be renewed and a 20 minute evacuation must be carried out in addition to the flushing procedure.
