System Failure

If a system failure occurs, the ECU switches off the ABS system and lights the dash-mounted warning light. Full boosted braking to all wheels is maintained if the ECU switches off the ABS system. If a failure of the hydraulic boost portion of the system occurs, the brake system will function on the front wheels only, without boost pressure.
