Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

NOTE: The factory does not give any specifications for setting the throttle potentiometer without using the Jaguar Diagnostic System test equipment.

Throttle Potentiometer:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove throttle cross rods from throttle pulley.
3. Unplug potentiometer electrical harness.
4. Remove nuts and washers securing throttle pulley plate to pedestal and lift plate from engine.
5. Fit new potentiometer and reverse removal procedures to complete installation.
