Electronic Control Unit (Ecu) (XJ6)
The ECU is located under the dash, on the passenger's side. ECU's main function is to ensure optimum engine performance. ECU uses signals received from driver's controls and various sensor inputs to control engine performance.
NOTE:
Components are grouped into 2 categories. The first category covers INPUT DEVICES, which control or produce voltage signals monitored by the ECU. The second category covers OUTPUT SIGNALS, which are components controlled by the ECU.
