Theft Control Module: XJ6
- Disconnect negative battery lead. Remove left rear interior light cover. Move left rear side liner aside for access.
- Release control module multi-plug lever lock. Disconnect inclination sensor multi-plug. Remove ABS Control Module (BCM) mounting bracket securing bolts. Move BCM and BCM harness aside. Remove sun roof drain tube from inner fender grommet and BCM mounting plate grommet and shift aside.
- Remove theft control module securing nuts. Displace theft control module. Note position and remove theft control module multiplugs. Remove drain tube from theft control module and remove theft control module. Reverse removal procedure to install new theft control module. Using Jaguar Diagnostic System, (JDS) reprogram security system following menus VEHICLE SET-UP then SECURITY/CCM SET-UP.
