System Function Test

TESTING CRUISE CONTROL ECU CIRCUITS (1)

03-Output (PPL/GRN) Dump Valve Pump Unit Ground 12V
06-Input (BLU) Road Speed Pulsed Signal Key ON: 5V
10-Output (BLU/RED) Control Valve Ground 12V
11-Output (BLK/PNK) Logic Ground Ground Ground
12-Input (PPL/YEL) Cruise Control ON/OFF Switch Key ON: 12V Brakes Applied: Open Circuit
14-Output (GRY/RED) Dump Valve Ground Ground 12V
15-Input (PPL/BLU) Brakelight Switch (Brake ON) Ground (Brake OFF) 12V
17-Input (GRY/BLU) SET/ACCEL/RESUME Switch SET/ACCEL: 2.7 V RESUME/COAST: 5.5 V
18-Input (GRY/BLK) Transmission Cruise Control Inhibit "D", "3", "2": 12V "P", "R", "N": Ground
20-Input (BLU/YEL) Vacuum Pump Ground Ground 12 V
(1) Measure voltage between ground and specified ECU connector pin. Repair open or short in specified circuit and/or replace switch if necessary. If specified result is okay, replace ECU and retest.
