SCP Functional Check

  1. With all doors and windows closed, lock vehicle using key. Using key, unlock vehicle and hold key in unlock position. If both doors unlock, both windows open and convertible top lowers (if equipped), communication has been made between DDCM, DRDCM, PDCM, PRDCM, BCM and SCLM.
  2. Turn ignition to "II" (on) position. Set and recall seat memory position. Open and close driver's door. Ensure DOOR AJAR warning is illuminated at instrument cluster. If seat memory works, communication has been made between DDCM, BCM and DSCM. If DOOR AJAR warning is functioning properly, communication has been made between DDCM and instrument cluster.
