Diagnostic Test Procedure

Perform a visual inspection of all accessible pipes, connectors and components. Repair any faults as necessary. Using K-line or Vacutec equipment, check the joints/connections. If a is fault found, repair as necessary. Repeat the K-line or Vacutec test. Clear DTC. Perform a full Evaporative system monitor drive cycle. See DRIVE CYCLES . Recheck DTC(s). If no fault is found, possible intermittent fault with vapor hoses or "O" ring seals. Carefully check condition of hoses and seals. Replace any suspect seals. Repeat the K-line or Vacutec test. Clear DTC. Perform a full Evaporative system monitor drive cycle. See DRIVE CYCLES . Recheck DTC(s).
