Lifting & Jacking: Jacking

When jacking the front of the vehicle with a shop jack, place a block of wood between the jack and the front suspension crossbeam. When jacking the rear of the vehicle with a shop jack, place a block of wood between the jack and the rear suspension subframe. See Fig 2 . Support the vehicle using the appropriate support locations. See Fig 1 .
