High Side (14) 160-203 psi (11-14 BAR)
Low Side (15) 32-35 psi (2.2-2.4 BAR)
(1) Fixed displacement with integral high pressure safety valve.
(2) Internal components of the A/C compressor are not serviceable. Compressor is serviced only as an assembly.
(3) Belt tension is automatically adjusted by belt tensioner.
(4) Blower motor will remain off at coolant temperatures below 95°F (35°C), unless DEFROST, FACE or DEMIST modes are selected.
(5) Pressure switch provides a signal for compressor operation to the Engine Control Module (ECM) via the A/C control module. If pressure falls below or rises above the specified range, ECM will disengage the compressor clutch.
(6) Pressure switch provides a signal directly to the ECM for cooling fan operation.
(7) When pressure rises above 319 psi (22.0 BAR), the ECM will switch the cooling fan from low to high speed. When pressure falls below 245 psi (17.5 BAR), the ECM will switch the cooling fan high to low speed.
(8) When pressure rises above 174 psi (12.0 BAR), the ECM will turn the cooling fan on low speed. When pressure falls below 116 psi (8.0 BAR), ECM will turn off the cooling fan.
(9) Use PAG (WSH-MIC231-B) refrigerant oil.
(10) Add amount of oil that was withdrawn from the system during the recovery process to the amount specified. This amount is typically 1.0-1.4 ozs. (30-40 ml).
(11) Add only the amount of oil withdrawn during system recovery process.
(12) The 2 zone system allows the front occupants to set individual temperatures for the left and right sides of the interior. The 4 zone system allows front and rear occupants to set individual temperatures (2 front zones and 2 rear zones).
(13) When adding refrigerant to system, engine speed must not exceed 2000 RPM for the first 2 minutes of compressor operation.
(14) Measured at an ambient Temperature of 80°F (27°C).
(15) Pressure based on evaporator temperature of 35.6-37.4°F (2-3°C).
