Auxiliary Junction Box - Removal and Installation: Removal

- Open the driver's door, or both doors if necessary, to allow the side windows to drop. Ensure that the doors remain open until after the battery has been disconnected.
- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
- Remove the battery cover.
- Open the bonnet and fit body paintwork protection sheets.
- Remove the positive supply power cable.
- Remove the fuse-box from the mounting panel.
Reposition the cover from the positive cable.
- Remove the nut which secures the positive cable to the fuse-box.
- Disconnect the positive power cable.
- Remove the fuse-box from the mounting panel.
- Remove the fuse-box from the mounting panel.
- Release the securing latch, upwards.
- Reposition the fuse-box, inwards.
- Remove the fuse-box from the mounting panel.
- Releases the securing tangs and remove the cover from the fuse-box.
- Release the securing latch, upwards.
- Remove the fuse-box.
- Identify and disconnect the harness multi-plugs from the fuse-box. Remove the fuse-box from the vehicle.
- Remove the fuses and relays.
- Note the position of each relay and remove them.
- Identify each fuse and remove them. The value and position of each fuse is illustrated on the lid of the luggage compartment fuse-box - for all fuse-boxes on the vehicle.
