SERVICE INFORMATION

Symptom  000101 Diagnostic Concerns

ISSUE

Retailers may inappropriately use the InControl Touch Pro Blank Screen recovery application in Symptom Driven Diagnostics (SDD).

CAUSE

Analysed data displays that the above application has been incorrectly ran when:

Incorrect use of this application can result in the IMC being unrecoverable and may require replacement.

ACTION

ONLY use the InControl Touch Pro Blank Screen Recovery application:

NOTE: The screen of an InControl Touch Pro will remain blank when a new IMC is installed. This is not a fault and the InControl Touch Pro Blank Screen Recovery application should NOT be used before configuring the new IMC to the vehicle.
