SERVICE INFORMATION
Symptom 000101 Diagnostic Concerns
ISSUE
Retailers may inappropriately use the InControl Touch Pro Blank Screen recovery application in Symptom Driven Diagnostics (SDD).
CAUSE
Analysed data displays that the above application has been incorrectly ran when:
- SDD has not prompted the user to run the application.
- When the InControl Touch Pro system is operational and the touch screen is not blank.
- Fitting a new Infotainment Master Controller (IMC).
Incorrect use of this application can result in the IMC being unrecoverable and may require replacement.
ACTION
ONLY use the InControl Touch Pro Blank Screen Recovery application:
- When the software download to the IMC has failed and it has resulted in a blank screen front touch screen.
- When prompted by SDD to run the application
