P06DC-12: Engine Oil Pressure Control Circuit High - Circuit short to battery: Action
- Vehicle Conditions to enable DTC Logging Strategy
- Ignition on, engine running
- Inspect connectors for signs of water ingress, and pins for damage and/or corrosion
- Refer to the appropriate system wiring diagrams and check the variable oil pump solenoid circuit for
- Fuse failure
- Short circuit to ground
- Short circuit to power
- Open circuit
- High resistance
- Check and install a new variable oil pump solenoid, only when diagnosed as failed
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, clear all stored DTCs and retest
