Battery Energy Control Module (G2261602): Installation

The following steps require the safety accompanying person with the safety hook outside the live working area, this person must remain in position for the duration of this procedure.

- Install the Battery Energy Control Module (BECM).
- Install the ground busbar.
- Install and tighten the 4 bolts.
  General Equipment: Insulated 3/8 Drive Torx Socket T30
  
  General Equipment: Insulated 3/8 Drive Wrench
  
  Torque : 12Nm
- Connect the 6 electrical connectors to the BECM.

Remove the insulated sheath from the baseplate negative terminal.

Special Tool(s): JLR-415-031
Install the Battery Electrical Module (BEM).
Refer to: BATTERY ELECTRICAL MODULE .
- Once the vehicle High Voltage (HV) system has been powered up connect the JLR approved diagnostic equipment and run the replace ECU application using the following steps.
  General Equipment: Jaguar approved diagnostic tool
- Select ECU Diagnostics.
- Select Battery Energy Control Module [BECM].
- Select Replace ECU.
