DTC P0893-07: Multiple Gears Engaged - Mechanical failures: Action
- Prioritized steps to perform:
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, check the transmission control module for related DTCs and refer to the relevant DTC index
- Using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment, reconfigure the transmission control module with the latest level software
- Inspect the driveshafts for correct installation. If the driveshafts are not correctly installed, check for any damage to the driveshafts. Reinstall or replace the driveshafts as required
- Check the transmission fluid level using the Jaguar Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment to run the 8-speed ZF - Automatic Transmission Fluid Level Check Application. Refer to the appropriate Service Information and check the automatic transmission fluid quality For additional information, Refer to: TRANSMISSION OIL COLOR CHART (G2784134) . If the automatic transmission fluid condition is unsatisfactory, raise a Technical Assist (TA) for further support
