Check all other engine associated systems that can affect air/fuel mixture combustion efficiency or exhaust emissions before beginning diagnosis on this system.
- These systems include basic carburetor adjustments, mechanical engine operation (spark plugs, valves springs, etc.), ignition system, gaskets (intake manifold, carburetor or base plate) and loose vacuum hoses and fittings.
