Open Loop Mode

When the engine is in the open loop mode of operation, the air/fuel mixture ratio will be based on a value that is established for each of the following engine operating conditions: cold weather start-up and operation (below 55°F/13°C), cold engine at or near WOT operation (below 100°F/38°C & below 4 in. Hg), warm engine at or near WOT operation (above 100°F/38°C & below 4 in. Hg), adaptive operation (at idle speed, accelerating from idle speed, or decelerating to idle speed).
