Fuel Injectors
There is one injector per cylinder. Injectors are attached to the fuel rail and the nozzle ends are positioned into openings in the intake manifold, just above the intake valve ports of the cylinder head. The injectors are electrically operated and exclusively controlled by the ECU. Each injector is connected to a permanent ground. Battery voltage is supplied to the injectors through the ECU to control injector pulse width. The ECU determines injector pulse width based on various inputs.
