Retrieving Fault Codes: Notes

NOTE: Manufacturer recommends using DRB-II with proper cartridge for system diagnosis. Other after-market scan testers may be used for system diagnosis. Use following procedures if retrieving fault codes using DRB-II. When retrieving fault codes using DRB-II, you must first enter AW4 MENU, and then retrieve fault codes.

NOTE: Ensure TEST 1A is performed when trouble shooting the vehicle. This test will check for fault codes with vehicle stationary and during road test. See appropriate TEST 1A under DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS.
