Diagnostic test procedures are designed to detect system faults as quickly as possible. Body trouble codes are accessed through CCD BUS Data Link Connector (DLC). See Figure . DRB tester is used to access information from CCD BUS DLC. See ENTERING ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.

DRB tester, jumper wires and volt-ohmmeter will be needed for testing. Proceed to TEST 1A - IDENTIFYING VEHICLE EQUIPMENT & SYSTEM PROBLEMS  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TESTS. Ensure self-diagnostic tests apply to vehicle being tested. See BODY CONTROL COMPUTER TESTS DIRECTORY table under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM  . When system problem is identified according to customer's complaint, perform indicated diagnostic test.
