Test 9B - Short To Ground

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS article in this section.

CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position before disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Using DRB in voltmeter mode, check voltage at CAB connector terminal No. 41, pedal travel sensor return circuit (Red/Black wire). If voltage is more than 10 volts, repair short to voltage in Red/Black wire and replace CAB module. Perform TEST VER-1 . If voltage is less than 10 volts, replace CAB module. Perform TEST VER-1 .
