Transmitter Programming

  1. Open driver's door of vehicle and leave open. Move manual door lock lever to LOCK position. Turn ignition switch ON.
  2. Within 20 seconds of turning ignition switch ON, aim transmitter at remote keyless entry module receiver dome and depress LOCK button for at least 5 seconds. Manual lock lever on door will unlock to confirm acceptance of programming.
  3. If additional transmitters are to be programmed, move manual lock lever to LOCK position and within 20 seconds of programming first transmitter repeat step 2) for each additional transmitter.
    NOTE: Up to four transmitters can be programmed.
  4. To lock programmed codes into module, turn ignition switch to OFF and back to ON within 20 seconds of programming last module.
NOTE: Once step 4) is completed all previous transmitter codes are erased from keyless entry module memory.
