Interior Lighting Test 1A - Identifying Interior Lighting System Problems

NOTE: Perform SYMPTOM ID TEST 1A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  and WIRING DIAGRAM  and SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article. Perform TEST VER-1A  after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting any module connector. Ensure all connectors are clean and tight.

Identify problems(s) listed in INTERIOR LIGHTING DIAGNOSTIC TEST DIRECTORY table and perform indicated test(s).

Illuminated Entry Inoperative (2) Replace BCM
Liftgate (Cargo) Courtesy Light Disable Inoperative INTERIOR LIGHTING TEST 7A 
(1) If equipped.
(2) Courtesy lights and door locks operate properly.
