Perform all steps in appropriate BASIC DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES article. If no faults are found while performing basic diagnostic procedures, proceed with self-diagnostics. If no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) or only pass codes (system functioning properly) are found during self-diagnostics, proceed to TEST NTC-1A: NO TROUBLE CODE TEST MENU  , or appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article for diagnosis by symptom.
