Heated Seats

Heated seat components consist of Heated Seat Module (HSM), heated seatback, seat cushion elements and heated seat switches located on instrument panel. Heated seat switch can be operated in HI, LO or off setting. When heated seat switch is activated, a signal is sent to Body Control Module (BCM) to operate seat in corresponding setting. Heated seat is available with or without memory system option. Heated seat elements are different between Laredo and Limited models. On Laredo models, heated seat elements are wired in series. This means if one heated seat element is defective (open), neither heated seat element will operate. On Limited models, heated seat elements are wired in parallel. This means if one heated seat element is defective, other heated seat elements will continue to operate.
