  1. Using scan tool, select BODY, BODY COMPUTER then SENSORS. Using jumper wire, backprobe coolant level sensor connector terminals. Sensor is mounted in coolant recovery tank. Turn ignition on. Read coolant level sensor voltage on scan tool. If scan tool indicates voltage is greater than zero volts, go to next step. If scan tool indicates voltage is zero volts, replace coolant level sensor. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect coolant level sensor. Using DVOM, measure resistance between ground and coolant level sensor connector and terminal No. 2 (Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open in Black wire between coolant level sensor and ground. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  3. Disconnect BCM connector C2. Using DVOM, measure resistance of Pink/Black wire between coolant level sensor connector and BCM connector C2 terminal No. 17. See Figure. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Pink/Black wire. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
