Alarm Trips Without Cause

Using scan tool, select VTSS, then MONITORS. Select ALARM TRIPPED BY status. If no causes are displayed, test is complete. If a cause is listed, attempt to isolate intermittent alarm trigger cause using scan tool. Repair as needed. Perform VEHICLE THEFT SECURITY SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
