Programming Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Transmitter

Connect Diagnostic Readout Box (DRBIII®) scan tool and follow on-screen instructions. Select THEFT ALARM, MISCELLANEOUS, then PROGRAMMING RKE. Select a position between 1 and 4. Power door locks will cycle to indicate programming mode has been entered. Press unlock button on transmitter. Power door locks will cycle again to indicate programming of that transmitter has been completed. Transmitters will go out of synchronization when batteries are dead or replaced or if any button is pressed more than 128 times with transmitter out of operating range. To resynchronize transmitter, ensure transmitter is within operating range of vehicle and press and hold lock button until power door locks cycle.
