Power Steering Pressure Switch

Power Steering Pressure (PSP) switch is used on 2.5L with power steering. Switch is located on power steering pressure line, next to power steering pump. PSP switch sends a signal to PCM when system pressure rises to more than 250-300 psi (17.6-21.1 kg/cm2 ). When power steering load is high, PCM increases engine idle speed through IAC motor to prevent stalling.
