Removal & Installation

  1. PCM is located in engine compartment. For PCM location, see PCM LOCATION  table. Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove cover for access to PCM connectors. Disconnect PCM connectors. Remove PCM retaining bolts and PCM.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten PCM retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

Cherokee In Engine Compartment, On Left Front Fender, Near Radiator Support
Grand Cherokee & Wrangler On Firewall, In Right Rear Corner Of Engine Compartment
