Removal & Installation

  1. Move seat to full forward position. Remove bolts attaching front of seat to floor. Move seat to full forward position. Remove bolts attaching rear of seat to floor. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect electrical connectors and remove seat from vehicle.
  2. Turn seat over and remove side shield from seat bottom. Remove nuts attaching seat track adjuster to seat. Front seat cushion trim cover will have to pulled back to access front nuts. Disconnect harness from retaining clips on seat track adjuster. Disconnect seat module connector and remove seat track adjuster from seat. Seat module is located under front of seat.
  3. Lift seat module and mounting bracket off of studs on bottom of seat frame. Disconnect seat module connectors. Pry seat module clips back while pulling seat module from bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure. Torque seat track adjuster-to-seat frame nuts to 20 ft. lbs. (28 N.m). Torque seat track adjuster-to-floor bolts to 30 ft. lbs. (40 N.m).
