July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Passenger Door Courtesy Light Inoperative

  1. Remove and inspect passenger's door courtesy light bulb. Replace as needed. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS. If bulb is okay, go to next step.
  2. Remove passenger's door inner trim panel. Disconnect Passenger's Door Module (PDM) C2 connector. Using DVOM, measure resistance of Pink/Dark Green wire between PDM C2 connector terminal No. 9 and passenger's door courtesy light bulb socket. See Figure . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open in Pink/Dark Green wire. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  3. Using DVOM, measure resistance of Black/Red wire between PDM C2 connector terminal No. 12 and passenger's door courtesy light bulb socket. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or greater, repair open in Black/Red wire. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
  4. Replace Body Control Module (BCM). See BODY CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
