Memory Switch

Remove memory switch. See MEMORY SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check resistance between appropriate terminals at memory switch with memory switch in specified position. See MEMORY SWITCH RESISTANCE  table. If resistance is not as specified, replace memory switch.

MEMORY SWITCH RESISTANCE

Switch Position Terminals No. (1) Ohms
Neutral (2) 1 & 4 14,000
Memory 1 (3) 1 & 2 4600
Memory 2 (3) 1 & 2 1700
Set (3) 1 & 2 300
(1) All readings are plus or minus one percent.
(2) Black and Gray wires.
(3) Black and Brown wires.
