Test I: Can't Set/Recall Memory Positions: Testing

  1. With the DRBIII(R), erase DTCs. With the DRBIII(R), read the active DTCs. With the DRBIII(R) in Inputs/Outputs, read the In-Plant state. Are there any active DTCs or is In-Plant mode activated? If yes, If yes, go to appropriate DTC test or disable In-Plant test mode. Perform ADJUSTABLE PEDAL VERIFICATION TEST VER 1  . If no, go to next step.
  2. Attempt to set and recall other memory functions in the vehicle. Can other vehicle memory functions be set and recalled? If yes, replace and program the adjustable pedals module. See ADJUSTABLE PEDAL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Perform ADJUSTABLE PEDAL VERIFICATION TEST VER 1  . If no, replace and program the Driver Door Module. See DOOR MODULE (2002) or DOOR MODULES . Perform ADJUSTABLE PEDAL VERIFICATION TEST VER 1  .
