Body Control Module: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the instrument panel fuse cover.
  3. Access and disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connectors from the BCM.
  4. Remove the mounting screws (Torx T-20) that secure the BCM to the JB.
  5. Pull the BCM straight out towards the dash panel far enough to disconnect the integral BCM to JB connector. Remove the BCM.
