Powertrain Control Module: Notes

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Jeep Wrangler, 2002 Jeep Liberty, and 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: If replacing PCM, the correct vehicle mileage and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be programmed into PCM to prevent DTCs from being stored in Controller Anti-Lock Brake (CAB) module and Air Bag Control Module (ACM). If replacing PCM on models equipped with a Sentry Key Immobilizer Module (SKIM), the secret key data must also be updated to enable engine starting.
