Overhead Console Power Liftgate Switch
NOTE:
The overhead console shown in the illustration contains a combination power liftgate/power sunroof switch. Vehicles equipped with the power liftgate and no sunroof contain a single power liftgate switch only.
NOTE:
On vehicles equipped with both a power sunroof and power liftgate the overhead console switches are serviced together as one assembly.
The power liftgate switch (1) is mounted in the overhead console assembly (3). The momentary, push button-type power liftgate switch, provides a hardwired signal to the Power Liftgate Control Module. The switch assembly is attached to the overhead console with two screws.
If the switch is inoperative or damaged the power liftgate/power sunroof switch assembly must be replaced. See REMOVAL for the appropriate procedure.
