Transmitter






TRANSMITTER





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Pull the bezel (1) straight out from the headliner (3) to unsnap it from the transducer housing (2) of the intrusion sensor transmitter. Be certain to take the appropriate precautions not to soil or damage the headliner.
3. Remove the trim from the upper liftgate opening. Liftgate Trim Panel - Removal.
4. Remove the trim from the left upper D-pillar. Removal.





5. Carefully pull down the left rear edge of the headliner (1) from the upper liftgate opening far enough to reach between the headliner and the roof panel to access the transmitter (2) and mounting bracket (4) on the headliner substrate.
6. Disconnect the take out of the overhead wire harness (1) from the connector receptacle on the side of the transmitter housing.
7. Release the two latch features (3) of the mounting bracket and disengage the transmitter from the locating pins of the bracket.
8. Remove the transmitter from between the headliner and the roof panel.
