Module-Remote Compass: Installation

  1. Position the Remote Compass Module (RCM) (2) into the bracket on the upper side of the headliner (1).
  2. Install the RCM retaining screws (4).
  3. Connect the electrical connector (3).
  4. Install the headliner assembly, refer to INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the battery negative cable.
  6. Perform the Compass Variation Adjustment, see STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  7. Perform the Compass Calibration, see STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  8. Verify proper compass operation.
