Module, Hands Free: Removal: Removal

NOTE:

The HFM is mounted to the top of the steering column support bracket.

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to KNEEBLOCKER, REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the brake pedal assembly (1). Refer to PEDAL(S), BRAKE AND/OR ACCELERATOR, REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the hands free module mounting fasteners.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the module.
