Module, Transmission Control: Removal: Removal

NOTE:

Remove the steering column opening cover (5), refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL .

The TCM (3) is located to the right of the left kick panel (1).

Unplug the two electrical connectors (2) at the TCM (3).

Using a ratchet (2) and a long extension (1) remove the two nuts that hold the TCM to the bulkhead.

Slide the TCM off the mounting studs (1) and remove from the vehicle.
